Video
Zoom is a combination webinar and video-conferencing tool available to the Saint Michaels community. These days, it is nearly impossible to do business without a tool such as Zoom. Whether you're meeting with students and colleagues both near and far, collaboratively sharing your screen, or giving a webinar, Zoom brings us together.

Echo 360 is Saint Michael's video management with lecture capture solution. It is fully integrated with our LMS allowing for access to it's full range of capabilities within Canvas. With a unified view of all content it is easy to share right from your personal library.
Personal Lectures
- Use Echo360 to record short lectures from your personal computer. Lectures should be "chunked" into videos that are no more than 10 - 15 minutes in length.
- You can share your screen when using Echo Lecture Capture or just record yourself.
- You can embed mini "quizzes" into the lecture so that students have to respond to the questions before moving on.
- As with all Echo360 recordings, closed captioning is an option. If a student requires closed captioning, please contact Josh Norberto (jnorberto@smcvt.edu) and Patrick Volz (pvolz@smcvt.edu) to discuss details.

Classroom Recordings
- Faculty can request that their classes be automatically captured in Echo360. This allows students the option of reviewing lectures at a later date.
- Complete the "Request for Scheduled Recordings in Echo360 Links to an external site." online form to have your lectures recorded. All you will need to do is log into your class on the classroom computer.
